Baptist chapel, now redundant. 1701. Red brick. Pantile roof
with recessed gables, flat band at eaves and single gable stack
to east. Single storey with 2 storey east gallery. Doorway in
east side with segmental head and panel door. South side with 2
glazing bar sashes to the right with a blocked doorway to the
left and another glazing bar sash beyond. West end with 2
glazing bar sashes and small rectangular shuttered opening above.
North side with 2 glazing bar sashes to right, blocked doorway to
left with glazing bar sash beyond. All the openings with
segmental heads. Interior with panelled west gallery with
central fielded panelled door with small rectangular window to
left. Small room under gallery to south with small fireplace
with segmental head. Painted pine C18 benches piled up and
dismantled panelled pulpit. Whole structure shored up both
inside and out with long wooden struts.
