Barn, latterly two houses, now one. Dated 1607 with mid- to late C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed with red brick nogging; dressed red sandstone and red brick additions; stone slate roof, with catslide over partial outshut to rear. L-plan; three framed bays with C19 wing to west. Two storeys and gable-lit attic. Brick ridge stack to wing at rear.
Framing: square-panels, six from sole-plate to wall-plate. East front: four windows to first floor, one-, two- and three-light C20 metal casements; C20 boarded door between first and second windows from left; full-height porch to north has jettied gable with probably restored shaped brackets and bressumer dated "JULY 9 SF NK 1607", and C20 boarded door with ogee head.
