Semi-detached house. Early C19. Local stone cut and squared; Welsh slate roof to low pitch between stepped coped
gables; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Sash windows of 16-panes in plain openings with stone lintols to
lower bay 2 a part glazed door set in recess. Interior not seen. Attached on south side is Melbury Farmhouse (qv).
About 5 metres to north a farm building possibly C18, of lias stone coursed rubble, corrugated sheet iron roof between
high gables suggesting former thatch; blocked doorway in front door and casement window in south gable, the latter set
high: Interior not seen: building adds to the setting of the house, and is presumably a former pint of Melbury Farm.
