Semi-detached house. Later C18. Local grey lias stone cut and squared; Clay pantiles between stepped coped gables,
probably replacing thatch; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Sash windows of 16 panes in plain openings
with voussoired flat arches; late C19 part-glazed door in open timber and tiled porch to lower bay 2. On north-west
corner, breaking forward, an outhouse with double Roman clay tile roof, halved door in west wall and loft door in north
gable with metal approach stair. Interior not seen, but reported and illustrated a cross-passage 2-room plan with
lean-to at rear; large fireplace with chamfered wood bressumer in north gable: collar truss roof. (SSAVBRG Report, SRO
unpublished, March 1980; Somerset Villages - Long Load and Knole, Long Sutton, SSAVBRG 1982).
