Fragment of great house (Cob Hall, demolished). C16 altered. Squared
rubble, outhouse with Cotswold stone roof. The outhouse is a mid-C19
remodelling, roughly 3-bay with evidence of 2 window heads and a doorway.
Wide segment headed moulded archway in centre, restored labels and C13-
looking headstops with a king and queen. Wall to right may be an C18
restoration; about 3m high returned from North boundary wall of about 2m
high which is battered drystone and has soldier course; buttress in line
with gateway to Island House (q.v.).
