5/79 Sign Post


Sign post. Dated 1897, restored 1968. Ashlar and iron. 2 round
ashlar steps surmounted by a cast iron post with decorative
plaque inscribed "Erected by subscription Tuxford June 1897" and
further plaque detailing restoration. The post is topped with 4
decorative directional arms and further decorative iron work
enclosing plaques. Above is a decorative iron arch with central
lamp. Included for group value only.
