5/89 Barn at Rockley House

Barn. Early C19. Red brick. Pantile roof with single left gable orb finial. Dentil eaves. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central doorway with wooden plank door under round arch with painted keystone and ashlar hinge blocks. To the left are 3 slit ventilators. Above are 2 openings, the right with small wooden shutter, the left now blocked, both under segmental arches with painted keystones. Flanking the left opening are single decorative ventilators. The left gable with open pediment created by dentil bands has a large blind archway with a round arched blind panel above. Included for group value only.
