Late C16, 2 storey and attic, gable end window, timber frame, plastered (part).
Tiles, ogre bracket cornice. 2 windows (3-light easements). Modern door
and gabled hood, 3 light mullion transom casement left, and C19 3-light sashed
bay, right. Folly moulded interior beam indicates the early date.

Nos 38 and White Lion form a group with Nos 1 & 2 London Road.
