40 yards east of Pontapina

Cow house and stable. Early to mid-C19. Thinly coursed rubble with dressed
quoins to ground floor and gable ends; timber-framed loft, stone slate shallow
pitch roof. Rectangular plan aligned east/west, aspect south, full-length
catslide lean-to to rear. Four doors with lightly chamfered surrounds and
4 windows (one retaining 4 diagonal bars) to ground floor, loft partially
framed, one panel up to wall-plate with some bracing and numbered re-used
studs. Slit vents to east gable with raking-strut end truss. Three openings
to ground floor in west gable each with brick voussoirs. Interior: 3 cow
sheds with cross-placed mangers to east, stable and tack room to west bay,
calf pens in catslide lean-to.
