Schoolroom to Independent Chapel. 1866-68. Ham stone, random coursed boasted stones with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate
roof with ornamental clay tile ridge between coped gables, which have obelisk kneeler stones and cross finials. Double
roof plan, ridges at right angles to road; single storey, 4x1+1 bays. Plain lancet windows, with plain pointed arched
doorways between each pair of bays on the north elevation; double lancet window to main west gable with trefoil
gablement over; on south side, set back, the second gable with double lancets above and pointed arched doorway below.
Interior not seen. About 2 metres west of schoolroom low stone wall with cast iron railings having fleurs-de-lys
finials, arch-braced, return to south-west corner; one matching metal gate, and one timber gate, into forecourt, all
contributing to setting of the church complex. (VCH, Vol III, 1974).
