GV II

Independent Church. Established by 1837, enlarged between 1887 and 1893. Ham stone ashlar; hipped plain clay tile roof
over stone slate base courses. Single-storey, 3 bays with additions. Plinth, 3-light pointed arched windows with
mullions and transomes, no tracery. On south gable, a 3-light semi-circular arched window, above a later C19 porch,
with pair of boarded doors in pointed archway of non-traditional style, under a quatrefoil panel set in coped west
gable with obelisk finial; with 2 small lancets in south wall. Another extension on north gable with Welsh slate roof;
triple lancet in west wall above, matching the single lancet in a lower lean-to, which also has a pointed-arched
doorway. Interior not seen. (VCR, Vol III, 1974).
