Headstone. c1801. Ashlar. Has arched head decoratively carved with foliage
surrounding patterae. Good lettering. Commemorates "Sarah wife of Joseph
Roberts of Calverley-Bridge" who died 21st June 1801 aged 37. Has plaintive
verse:
"Why do ye mourn departing Friends?
Or shake at Death's alarms?
Tis but the Voice that Jesus sends
To call me to his Arms".
