Here lies Lady Amabel, the former wife of Sir Thomas Straunge, Knight, and first wife of Sir John Chetewode, Knight. [She] now rests who died the eighth day of September A.D. 1430. May the Blessed Mary have mercy on her soul and on the souls of the highest saints, Amen
