Small house. C18. Painted stone rubble walls with wooden and granite lintels and
some cob at rear. Steep corrugated iron roof sweeping lower over outshut at front,left, formerly thatched. Chimneys removed C20. 2-room plan plus later pantry outshut in front of left hand side. Originally kitchen,left, with wide rear doorway, and smaller parlour or service room right with cross passage between.
2 storeys with 1st floor rooms partly in roof space. One window south front.
Originally probably nearly symmetrical 2 window front but left hand side has single storey outshut in front. The doorway with circa early C20 ledged door is right of middle. Vertical strap of tie bar right of doorway. The rear has 2 cross straps of tie bars and ground and 1st floor windows towards the right; both circa early C19 horizontal sliding sashes, the ground floor one in a former doorway. Large buttress to ground floor right.
Interior not inspected.
This building is a very picturesque contribution to the village centre.
