Pair of terraced town houses. c1750-53 origin, rebuilt or refronted c1860-70.
Portland stone, slate roofs. Italianate classical. 5 storeys and basement. Each
3 windows wide. Entrances grouped to centre, panelled doors and rectangular
fanlights in stone architraves with cornices on consoles, approached by single
flight of steps. Architraved,recessed, plate glass sashes with cornices and with
pediments on 1st floor. Sill courses to 1st and 2nd floors. Bold crowning
cornice with modillion brackets. Cast iron area railings.
