Semi-detached cottage. C17. Ham stone rubble with ashlar dressings; double Roman clay tile roof with coped east gable;
brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays, with slight break back after bay 2. Hollow-chamfer mullioned windows in bays
1 to 3; 3-light with labels bay 1, 2-light bay 2 with label to upper window, 3-light with label upper bay 3 and 4-
light with label shaved off below; bay 4 has timber casements: entrance, possibly formerly in bay 2 now at rear. East
wall in course of rebuilding (June 1985). Interior not seen but reported is a 9-panel framed ceiling to hall, deep
chamfer unstopped beams, a cambered arched fireplace and a stone newel staircase. Attached on west is Hunters Lodge
Cottage, much altered and no longer of special interest. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished, 1976).
