Description


1. HASSETT ROAD E9 5013 (South Side) --------------- North wing of Convent of Sacred Heart TQ 3684 27/245 II

2. Late C18 or early C19 building of 3 storeys and attic, 5 windows. Stock brick with stuccoed frieze and cornice, and coping to tall brick parapet with balustrading at window spaces. Slated mansard with 3 flat dormers. Gauged flat brick arches to windows, upper sashes with glazingbars, lower casements. Gauged round brick arches to ground floor windows in round arcading with stone impost band. This house is now almost surrounded by later conventual buildings and the entrance cannot be seen.
