An early C18 house built of clay lumps. 1 storey and attics. Casement windows
(1 horizontal sliding sash), with glazing bars. Boarded door. Roof thatched,
with brick and chimney stacks. There is a C20 extension at the west end. The
cottage has been renovated in the C20.

Brook Cottage, Willowbrook Cottage, The Dip of the Hill, Springside and
East Side and West Side form a group.
