A C18 timber-framed and plastered house on an L shaped plan. The north front
is plastered in panels and the east front is faced in red brick. 1 storey and
attics. 4 window range on the north front and 2 window range on the east front.
Casement windows with glazing bars. Roof thatched, with 4 gabled dormers on
the north front and 2 gabled dormers on the east front.

Brook Cottage, Willowbrook Cottage, The Dip of the Hill, Springside and
East Side and West Side form a group.
