II

Barn. Late C17, recased 1751. Extended early C19. Timber
framed and brick with pantile roof. Single range. 3 unequal
bays Various C19 and C20 casements. East side has to left, mid
C20 lean-to pigsty. To its right, a buttress flanked by single
casements. Above, stone inscribed 'J.C. 1751'. To right again,
buttress and altered barn door. Beyond, 2 diamond breathers.
Beyond again, 2 casements. Above, to left, 4 cross shaped
breathers. North gable has 3 cross shaped breathers and above, a
casement. West side has several blocked openings. Interior has
5 bay posts with struts to tie beams. Principal rafter roof with
butt purlins and collars. To north, brick partition wall and
loft, mid C18.
