A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a later extension at the north
end 1 storey and attics. Casement windows. 1 boarded door. Roof thatched and
tiled (C20) at the north end, with 4 gabled dormers.

Post Office and store, The Thatch and adjoining cottage, The Shepherd
and Dog Public House, Conifer Cottage, Seldon In, The Cottage (The Hill)
and adjoining cottages and High Bank and Chaumiere form a group.
