A mainly C13 and C14 church of random flint with stone dressings, but with remains
of C12 work, including a fine South doorway with one order of shafts and scalloped
capitals and a semi-circular tympanum carved in an interlacing pattern with
stars and rosets; the jambs of the North door and a slit window in the North
wall of the nave. The chancel has late C13 windows. The C16 South porch is
of red brick, with crow stepped gable with 3 niches above the entrance. The nave
is C14. Roof tiled. There is a restored C15 rood screen and a plain C12 square
font. (restored 1882).
