Sited directly beside the carriageway. Sadly, the trough is in a neglected state and being consumed by vegetation. I can remember when a herd of cows were driven twice a day, along this stretch of highway, from a nearby farm to pastures where the extension to St George's Park now lies. The cows would frequently take advantage of the opportunity to have a drink at this trough. That would be back in the early 1960s.
