Farmhouse. Late C17 with later additions. Dressed stone with
quoins and stone slate and slate roofs. 2 storeys, 5 bays,
the 1st bay forms C18 extension with quoins and stone slate
roof; and 2 bays form later extension with slate roof, now
quoins. 1st bay has 3-light flat-mullioned windows. 2nd and
3rd bays have single-chamfered-mullioned windows, those to
ground floor of 4 lights, central mullions missing, and
dripstones; those to 1st floor of 3 lights. End 2 bays have
casement windows to 1st floor. Gabled porch to 2nd bay has
entrance with large lintel and wide-boarded door. Inserted
garage entrance to 4th bay and entrance with plain lintel to
5th bay. 3 brick stacks, one gable-end and 2 cross-axial.
Rear has extension with stack, varied casement windows.
Entrance in former 2-light window (lintel shows remains of
mullion). Interior has chamfered beams with stops and dog
leg stair with moulded close string, square newels with
round-headed panels and boarded-in balusters.
