5/201 Hogchester Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C17 and C18. Lias stone walls, rendered. C18 brick extension
in English bond at left hand. Tile roof with half-hip at left hand and
full hip to front at right hand. C20 brick stack at left hand, C18 brick
stack at right hand eaves. Eaves line higher at right, suggesting separate
build. 2 storeys. c 4 windows, wooden casements of 2 lights with segmen-
tal arches over, Front door, plank with one glass panel. Door at rear,
north east, enters at first floor level with massive Blue lias jambs.
Interior: south east room: open fireplace with massive stop-chamfered
wooden lintel. "RCHM Dorset I", p 267 (9).
