SY 39 SE CHARMOUTH

5/43 Langmoor Manor

Detached house in grounds. Late C18. Stone walls, rendered. Tiled roof
with rendered stacks at left and right hand gables. Projecting eaves boarded.
One bay C20 extension at right hand with the same materials. Main house:
2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with the outer ones being tripartite. Wooden
cills. Crown glass. Front door at centre, wooden with flush and recess
panels. 2 top lights. Square porch with wooden Tuscan three-quarter columns.
Plain moulded entablature. 2-leaf door to porch with glazing bars.

Interior: double-pile plan, with transverse hall at centre. Semi-circular
head in hall with crenallated motif on abacus. Pointed rear window with
intersecting tracery. Stone flags in former kitchen.
