Former Station Master's house, now disused. Mid C19. Rock faced stone with ashlar
dressings. Quoins. Part rendered. Steeply pitched slate roofs with gable copings on
large kneelers. Central stack with triple, hexagonal ashlar chimneys with caps.
Stack to each gable with double ashlar chimneys, as before. Two storeys and attic.
Gabled cross wing at each end. East elevation has central bay, slightly set back,
with doorway in large Tudor arched surround with deep hood mould. Above this is
gabled dormer with 2-light window. Each cross wing has 6-light mullioned and
transomed window to ground floor, and cross window to first floor. Small single light
in apex of each gable. West elevation has central single storey canted bay and
3-lights.
