House early C17 and early C18 with C20 alterations. Square coursed ironstone and
coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply pitched thatched roof continued over projecting
outshot on right. Brick ridge and end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic.
1-window range. Entrance to rear. Elevation fronting road has 3-light wood casements
with chamfered wood lintel and a single-light casement in the outshot. Wood lintels.
First floor has a 3-light casement and wood lintel. Two roof dormers with C20 windows.
Interior: in earlier section to left an upper cruck truss with saddle but collar
missing. Open fireplace with chamfered bressummer and window stair. Chamfered
beams and old purlins generally. Wide elm board floor in C18 section.
