GV II

House. C17 altered mid C18 and later. Datestone R/E/L 1742. Squared coursed
ironstone. Steeply pitched stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses.
Stone-coped gables. Stone end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2-window range.
Central entrance has Tuscan porch and 4-panelled door in moulded wood frame.
Entrance is flanked by tall renewed casements with ironstone lintels. 2 similar
first floor windows. Left end has hood moulds and label stops. Datestone
possibly refers to the Eden family. Interior not inspected.
