Mid C19. Red brick. Stucco dressings. Slate roof. Red brick stacks. 3
storeys and attics. Moulded ground floor cornice, string above 1st floor,
and eaves cornice. Coped parapet. Horizontally rusticated ground floor with
modern shops. lst floor has an arcade of 7 round headed sashes with moulded
surrounds (5 on South Street front), of which central one is slightly larger
and has vermiculated keystone. 2nd floor has 5 segment headed sashes (3 on
South Street front). Attic storey has 3 blind yeux-de-boeuf with moulded
surrounds, which break above parapet (1 on South Street front). Diagonal
corner of 1 window range, similar to those on corresponding floors.

Nos 2 to 16 (even) form a group.
