Mid C18 house and shop. Painted stucco and brick; slated
mansard roof with asbestos sheets to rear wing. Tall rear
stack. Two storeys with attic. Bands at cornice and first
floor; shallow parapet. Two flat roofed dormer windows with
casements. Three first floor hung sash windows shaped to
segmental arches with keystones and stone cills. Large,
projecting, four-light C19 shop window flanked by passage
entrance to north and double glazed shop doors to south in
common wooden architrave. C18 pedimented doorcase to side
entrance of rear wing. Interior, exposed chamfered ceiling
beams, and very fine mid C18 panelled room above shop with
contemporary richly ornamented doorcase and chimneypiece.
