Early C19. 2-storeys. 5 window bays. Slate roof. Left hand return slate hung;
stuccoed front. Bay to both floors at left hand end. To right hand, sash above,
doorway below; sash above and below; doorway; sash window above and below and
another sash window above. Pilastered doorways with pedimented hoods and fanlights;
6-panelled doors.

Nos 1 and 2 Pound Street form a group with The Peek Memorial Chapel, Hotel Alexandra,
Nos 1 and 2 Alexandra Cottage, Nos 5 & 6 St Michael's Hotel Shamien Hotel, all in
Pound Street, and also with the Stile House Hotel and wall in Stile Lane.
