Early to mid C19. 3 storeys. 3 window bays. Stuccoed. Eaves cornice. Pilasters
with incised panelling. Sash windows with glazing bars intact to 2nd floor.
French casements to 1st and ground floors. Iron verandah on 1st and ground floors
with balcony and canopy over at 1st floor level. 2-storey, 3-bay wing to the
south; bracket eaves cornice; slate hipped roof. Sash windows with glazing bars
intact. French casement to centre on ground floor; the latter and flanking sash
windows with rectangular lights with curved tracery above. Built possibly by
Joseph Hayward.

The Little Place and the north-east boundary wall, Rosehill and the garden wall,
Burley, the 01d Vicarage, the former stable block and the garden wall to Burley
and Old Vicarage, West Hill and the garden wall, together with the Roman Catholic
Church of St Michael and St George, and the Dorset Hotel, Pound Road form a group.
