Early C19. 2 storeys. Hipped slate roof. Eaves bracket cornice. Stuccoed.
3 window bays facing Silver Street; sash windows with glazing bars above; French
casements on ground floor; glass verandah on trellised supports. Main entrance
in Pound Road; good porch with Ionic columns and pilasters and dentilled cornice.

The Dorset Hotel together with the Roman Catholic Church of St Michael and
St George, Silver Street, The Little Place and the north-east boundary wall,
Rosehill and the garden wall, Burley, The Old Vicarage, the former stable block a s block]
and the garden wall to Burley and the Old Vicarage and West Hill and the garden
wall, Silver Street form a group.
