House latterly farmhouse. Late C17 main house attached to an earlier possibly C16 range remodelled in the early C18. Later extensions, probably early C19. Red brick (English garden wall bond); plain tile roofs; brick lateral and external end stacks. Irregular plan; principal alignment north-east/south-west, early range to the south-west facing south-east, roughly L-shaped main house to the north-east facing north-west; staircase wing of main house and two extension wings to the early range all lie to the north-west/south-east alignment.

South-east front. Early range set back to left, late C17 main house to right. Early range. One storey and attic with storey band; two bays, C19 casements, central window at mezzanine level, gabled attic dormers, raised roof verge to left and end stack with lozenge section shafts.

Main house. Two storeys and attic with storey bands, lateral stack to right, central pilaster buttress, and straight joint in the brickwork towards the left; late C19 panelled door to right, three gabled dormers containing casements and blocked window to first floor left with gauged head, otherwise blind. Left hand gable has two glazing bar sashes to ground and first floor with gauged brick heads, and C20 attic casements with gauged head and brick dripstone.

North-west front. Three gabled wings set back progressively from the right, recessed bay of main house to the left with gauged head glazing bar sashes. Late C17 left hand staircase wing with C20 panelled door flanked by a pair of small casements with segmental heads, irregularly placed glazing bar casements with three-centred heads; right hand wing has a massive end stack; C20 glazed porch in angle between this and centre wing.

Interior. Late C17 open well staircase with barley sugar twist balusters and moulded hand rail. In the early range is an early C18 short straight staircase with turned balusters; several panelled window shutters.
