Mostly late C17. Rendered rubble, modern pantile roof. Two small gables to
front. Two and a half storeys, 3 windows, C20 modern casements to ground floor
and in one gable, to first floor left is an original 3-light casement with
moulded wooden mullion with single transom, first floor centre window blocked.
Gabled central rendered porch, square head chamfered opening, plain inner door
with stepped double-ogee moulded oak frame. Brick stacks. Gabled extension
to rear with some leaded wooden casements.
Interior: numerous original features retained. On ground floor the staircase
door from hall has scroll ended wrought-iron strap-hinges. The Parlour has
ogee-moulded and stopped door surround, Tudor arched double-ogee moulded fireplace
with wooden lintel and stone sheets, a display cabinet and chamfered beams.
The other principal ground floor room has good moulded main and sub-siduary
beams, and a cupboard to right of fireplace with splat-baluster upper door.
The kitchen has exposed stud partitioning. Former rear door (now leads to
ex-brew-house) has large oak door surround with cambered head.
