in Churchyard

GV II

Box tomb: Dated 1814. Carved ashlar buff sandstone with Welsh slate
plaques. Neo-Classical detail. Tomb on rectangular base with moulded
plinth and square fluted clasping pilasters at the corners with urns
in the frieze. Raised dot and diamond bands between pilasters.
Capstone with moulded cornice supports central gadrooned urn with an
acorn finial. 6 memorial plaques, 5 engraved, the earliest to Samuel
Brady.
