Four houses, built as one 3-cell open-hall house in C15. Alterations of C16
and later. 1 storey and attics. Timber-framed and plastered. Plaintiled
roofs with C19 axial chimneys of red brick and gault brick. C19 and C20 flat-
roofed casement dormers. Various C20 casements and entrance doors. Nos. 3
and 5 comprise an open hall with tension braced studwork; the roof has smoke-
encrusted plaster between widely-spaced studwork,and the coupled-rafter
system is without its collars but otherwise undisturbed. No.1 has a rebuilt
clasped-purlin roof above the probable solar end, and No.7 probably comprises
the much altered service end.
