Former watermill, once a restaurant. Late C18 or early C19. Four storeys and attics. Timber-framed and weatherboarded. Concrete tiled roof, half-hipped at the north end. A gabled lucum (hoist loft) projects from the east roof slope. Three-window range of C20 pivoting small-pane casements, replacing original sashes. A pair of C20 multiple-panelled entrance doors. A two-storey brick and flint extension of C19/20 on the west side. A large iron breast-shot waterwheel, formerly in a wheelhouse but now external. All milling machinery has been removed.
Formerly known as Barking Road Mill or Quinton's Mill (the former Bosmere Mill stood about 800m down the River Gipping at Riverside Farm, Creeting St. Mary until C20).
