Farmhouse: later C17 core, with C18 and early C19 additions.
Coursed, squared, sandstone rubble, stone-coped gables to Kerridge
stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 2 stone chimneys. Originally
2-room, gable-entry house, then L-shaped, with addition to rear later.
2-storey, asymmetrical, 3-bay stone front with projecting gable having
2-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars and a blocked
2-light C18 mullion, to right. To left, 3-light casement under
concrete lintel below and 3-light horizontal sliding sash above.
Central door under stone lintel. Left gable end has blocked original
door under stone lintel and 3, 2-light casements in partly surviving
stone mullion surrounds.
Interior: Timber-framed heck and chamfered heck post and beam over
fireplace. Remains of stone fire surround. Remaining ceiling beams
chamfered.
