Lench House and attached barn

House dated 1702 with added barn dated 1705 now derelict. Hammer dressed stone,
stone slate roof. Quoins mark division of 2-cell house from barn. 2-storey.
House has double chamfered mullioned window of 3 lights and 5 lights either side
of doorway with composite jambs flat arched lintel inscribed "BY 1702 IB",
chamfered surround. 1st floor has 3-light and 4-light chamfered mullioned
windows. All windows lack some or all mullions. Barn to right has cart entry
with monolithic lintel carried on corbelled jambs; arched ventilator and mistal
doorway with inscribed lintel "IAB 1705" decorated with double tressure
incorporating a carved heart. 2 gable stacks. Coped gable with kneelers to
barn.
