Laithe-house, initialled and dated "J S S". Thin coursed hammer dressed
1765
stone, stone slate roof. Quoins. Barn to left hand end has mistal doorway with
monolithic jambs to left of segmental arched cart entry with skewbacks and
expressed keystone over which is apron to underneath of inscribed date tablet.
Single-light window to room taken out of 3-bay barn, with queen-strut roof, with
hayloft over. Doorway with monolithic jambs and 2 bays of flat faced mullioned
windows with overlapping lintels and sills of 2 wide lights lacking glazing.
Right hand return wall has doorway with thin monolithic jambs. Rear has flat
faced mullioned windows of 2 and 4 lights. 2 dressed stacks to ridge.
