II
War memorial. Circa 1919. Sandstone steps; marble statue. 2 square steps to
high plinth with clasping Ionic pilasters and entablature. Life-size figure
of soldier advancing with bayonet fixed. Names of dead of Tow Law in first
World War on four sides of pedestal. Low-relief inscriptions on frieze FOR
COUNTRY 1914 1919.

Iron posts with square-headed finials, some missing, on lower chamfered step.
