C16/C17. Timber framed cottage. Square panel framing with red brick infill.
Hipped thatched roof carried down to 1 storey height at west end which faces road
(although the cottage is set well back). Later dormer breaks through eaves. Northern
facade 2 storeys. 2 windows in circa 4 bay facade. Early C19 casements with glazing
bars including one lst floor window set in projecting wooden frame on a bracket.
