Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C17 with early C19 extension. Render over red
brick. Pantile roof. Road front with single red brick stacks to
rear gable,and to left of C17 wing, to ridge of C19 wing and to
right gable. C19 wing has a wooden eaves band. L-plan. 2
storeys plus attic single bay gable end of C17 wing set on a
plinth, to the right, slightly set back, is the 2 storey, 2 bay
C19 wing. Having from left to right a single tripartite glazing
bar Yorkshire sash, a small wooden lattice panel opening, a
single similar sash. Above are 3 similar sashes and in the attic
a single small fixed light. All openings, except the attic, are
under segmental arches. The east front of the Cl7 wing with
dentil eaves has a single small blocked light with a single small
glazing bar Yorkshire sash to the left. Above is a single
similar sash. There is a single tie plate. The openings to the
other fronts are altered.
