Estate house for Brayton Hall. 1870's for the Lawson family. Hammer-dressed
red sandstone walls, under graduated greenslate roof with sandstone chimney
stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central 2-storey gabled bay has panelled door, with
patterned overlight and right side light, in round-headed recess. Venetian
window above and quatrefoil in gable. Sash windows with glazing bars,
intersecting in pointed heads, in side bays.
