2 cottages. Dated and inscribed over No. 3 W. & M. B. 1678 FEARE GOD with C19
and C20 alterations. Painted roughcast walls under Welsh slate roof with
roughcast chimney stacks. 2 storeys under common roof, each of 2 bays
originally, but No. 4 has single-bay extension to right under common roof. Both
have C20 doors in chamfered surrounds under Tudor arches with continuous
hoodmould over chamfered-surround casement windows with stone mullions removed.
Similar upper-floor windows under continuous hoodmould (partly removed on No.3),
and C20 window inserted over entrance. Small chamfered-surround fire windows on
both floors in No. 4. Extension to No. 4 has chamfered-surround casement
windows with glazing bars and right-angled 2-door shippon at front. Interior of
No. 3 has firebeam and stone heck partition with spice and salt cupboard
recesses. Rear of No. 4 has been altered with C20 windows, No. 3 has a C20 rear
extension which is not of interest.
