A C18 timber-framed and plastered house, now faced in cement. 2 storeys. 2 window range, C20 casements with leaded lights. 2 C20 doors. A central diamond shaped panel bears the date 1796. Roof tiled, hipped, with a large central chimney stack.


Cherry Tree Cottages, The Ferns, The Chequers Inn, Broadgates, The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Nos 1 and 2 The Bishops, Cottage End, Burrells Cottage and Rose Cottage, Tighshee and Willow Cottage form a group.
