--6-- One of the Belvoir Angels headstones by a Hickling craftsman. Rectangular with round-faced winged angel, to: Sarah daughter of Robert and Ann Simon d.1728 aged 3 and a half years. Poem: -Death crops the flower the blossom and the bud/ Happy and blest are they whose lives are good/ Here we lie sleeping till our tender days/ Shall sing ourMakers everlasting praise-. Also a son, Robert, in raised letters, died in infancy. -Do not for us in tears remain/ Your loss we hope will be our gain-. (Photo Oct 2012).
