2 houses. c1770, remodelled 1790, with mid and late C19 and
C20 additions and alterations. Coursed squared stone with
brick front, ashlar dressings and pantile roof. Single gable
and 2 ridge brick stacks. Dentillated eaves. 2 storeys; 4
window range. Windows have ashlar surrounds, those to the
ground floor with cornices. To left, two C20 glazing bar
casements on each floor. To right, two 2-light casements with
cast-iron lattice glazing bars and chamfered stone mullions.
These windows are slightly larger. Single bay brick addition
to right, with a C19 3-light segment headed window to the
right return.
This building is probably one of those built or altered
c1790-1820 by George de Ligne Gregory, Lord of the Manor of
Harlaxton.
